Attributes:
Origin: Vipava Valley, Slovenia
Grape Varieties: 70% Malvasia Istriana + 30% Sauvignon Blanc
Production: Hand harvested grapes are 100% fermented in stainless steel. When the fermentation of Malvasia begins, the fermentation of Sauvignon is almost over, therefore the blend of the two parts into one takes place during Malvasia’s fermentation.
Appearance: Medium gold.
Nose: Aromas of meadow flowers, herbal notes and tropical fruits.
Taste: It is lively on the palate with hints of citrus, apple and other orchard fruits. The finish highlights the delicate balance of Sauvignon’s crispiness and Malvasia’s full bodied richness and slight mineral qualities.
Gastronomy: The minerality of this wine lends itself to shellfish very well. Its a versatile medium bodied wine that pairs well with most dishes.
